Accumulation Conveyor Curves
Accumulation conveyor curves are one of the latest industrial conveyor available at CASI. This conveyor uses the latest motorized drive roller technology. Also called MDR curves, these conveyor curves are safe and do not produce noise. Accumulation conveyor curves offer non contact zero pressure accumulation which is very useful in large scale industries. The cost of ownership is also much less than the other conveyor in the market because it uses on demand zones that reduce power consumption and noise.
There are different zones in this conveyor and each one of the zones is powered by a motorized roller that works smoothly. The rest of the rollers in that zone of the motorized drive roller conveyor are driven from the motorized roller that has o-rings or V-belts.
One of the many advantages of using motorized drive roller conveyor is that is doesn’t require air or special brakes because it works through electrical controls. Motorized drive roller conveyor is utilized in many applications like accumulation in curves, inclines and declines. MDR has the capability to interface with a PLC or PC based control package.
